Canton has historic districts and older neighborhoods on compact city lots. Vinyl comes in privacy, picket, 3-rail, 4-rail, and crossbuck styles to fit the lot.
Many older Canton lots have mature trees, alleys, and uneven ground, and vinyl is a low-maintenance choice for them. We set the posts for uneven ground and can rack, step, or contour the fence, in White, Tan, or Gray.
Full-privacy options include our privacy and lattice-top styles. Picket styles include flat top, flat top narrow, dog-ear, pointed, and framed picket designs from 3 to 5 feet, and we also build 3-rail, 4-rail, and crossbuck. Colors include White, Tan, and Gray, with several wood-grain finishes on select styles.

Canton allows fences up to 4 feet tall in the front yard. Side yards allow 6 feet and rear yards allow 8 feet. In B-3 through I-2 districts, a fence can reach 10 feet with the Zoning Inspector’s prior written approval. Supporting posts and rails can’t be visible from the adjoining property unless the fence looks the same on both sides.

PVC and vinyl are named in Canton’s list of accepted materials. Picket styles at 4 feet or lower fit the front yard, privacy and lattice-top styles fit side yards, and the rear yard allows the most height.
