Meyer’s Fence was awesome to work with! We got black aluminum fencing installed at our residence and the outcome was fantastic. We ended up having to make some changes along the way and Meyer’s was flexible, kind, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. Would absolutely recommend!

Cody and Travis were excellent. Fence install was efficient while taking the time to ensure I was aware of options and my input was gathered. I did some extracurricular bish removal outside of their work that upset a neighbor which the whole company handled perfectly. Very good experience knowing the product and service I received I would have paid more. Handled the prior fence removal perfectly as well. Thank you Cody and Travis.

I couldn't be happier with my experience. Working with the office to schedule was a breeze, the quote was straightforward, and they were so accommodating when I had to make last-minute changes on installation day. Easily the best contractor experience I've had! Everyone from start to finish was professional and the install team delivered fine craftsmanship. Would recommend.

Meyers Fence Company is absolutely fantastic. I would have to admit that we were fairly difficult customers to work with. We had a couple different changes to our plans, which Meyers rolled with without any problems. Then our schedule for project completion was put on hold because our concrete took much longer than expected. Despite all of this, Meyers always made us feel like very welcomed customers and that they really appreciated our business. Top notch work and product as well! I highly recommend Meyers Fence Company.

5-Star Google Review for Meyers Fence Company (Kent, serving Akron):
★★★★★
Meyers Fence Company in Kent absolutely knocked it out of the park with my fence project! They serve the Akron area perfectly and delivered professional, high-quality work from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, with clear communication and expert craftsmanship that exceeded my expectations.
What really makes this company shine are Cody and John Meyers. John brings incredible expertise and runs a tight ship as the owner, while Cody is an absolute standout—skilled installer, hardworking, and great to deal with on site. Those two guys make Meyers Fence truly amazing and set them apart from everyone else in the business.
If you’re in Akron, Kent, or anywhere nearby and need a fence done right (no subcontractors, just quality work), call Meyers Fence. 100% recommend!
Thanks again to Cody and John—you guys are the best!

We are extremely pleased with our fence and had an overall positive experience with Meyers. We were disappointed by some communication issues in the process. We are ultimately happy with the outcome.

When we asked for an estimate, John was out in just a few days to take measurements and discuss some boundary and layout concerns I had. He was knowledgeable and thoughtful- about the product, design options, and about local regulations regarding fences and boundaries. We really appreciated his thoroughness.

I am giving four stars however, as we ran into communication issues later. Specifically, there were multiple times that we weren’t told until the day of or left to conclude on our own that installation was being delayed for some reason. At another point, we were promised that it would be finished by a certain time and it wasn’t. I do understand life happens; we are all feeling the effects of supply chain issues and the weather. However, I’m disappointed when someone makes a promise they can’t keep, and I’m amazed when someone doesn’t call to say that they have to amend that promise. I rely on this fence for our dogs. There were multiple times that I had to call in last-minute favors from dog walkers because of delays we weren’t warned about. There were other communication issues, but they aren’t worth rehashing here. Maybe it’s a small thing to some people, but I’ve never spent $14k on a home improvement project. I merely expected better communication at that price point.

Still, everyone we spoke to was very personable and easy to work with. In the end, Meyers did build a gorgeous fence, and we are incredibly grateful for it.

------------------------------------------------------
Update: Meyers did an excellent job of correcting the issues above and taking great care of us when we have had to call them out a couple of times since then (fence quality has remained excellent, only ever issues on our end, eg storm damage as mentioned below). Ariel especially has done an excellent job communicating with us. I am revising my review to 5 stars - I sincerely appreciate their attention to my prior feedback and I would happily recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Meyers just finished installing a fence in my yard and they did a wonderful job. They listened to exactly what I was looking for and they took great care of my property while working. I couldn't be any happier. I already received multiple compliments from neighbors on how wonderful the fenced looked. Thank you!

Every aspect of dealing with Meyers was great. They came out to measure with a foot of snow on the ground. Started building when the temp was still in the 20s and got it done in 2 days and I couldn't be happier with my fence! Highly recommend. If I could add photos I would!

Myers Fence installed a long run of 6' high western red cedar pickets a an access gate at our residence. Dan and his team were absolute professionals, with top notch communication, expertise and clean up. They were patient in answering questions and diligent in their craft. We would recommend them to everybody for both residential and commercial projects.

Pricing can vary drastically between fence jobs based on needs, style of fence and more. Considering the cost of red cedar, along with installation, we were very pleased with the pricing. No hidden fees, no surprise charges. Good, honest people. We know we'll enjoy our fence for years to come!
